Sõsarad – sisters in Estonian and Võru language
We are three sisters from South-Estonia, Setos from our mother's and Võros from our father's side. Thus, we have always had genuine South-Estonian flavours on our table. As our parents and grand-parents, we are used to coact to raise, forage and prepare food.
Each of us has an irreplaceable role at our restaurant. This is how our tripod stands.
Triin Rätsep (sVissel )

Triin is the one who always greets our guests with a wide smile: "We have been expecting you!" Hosting is in her blood and our restaurant cannot be pictured without her hospitality. She eagerly tells our guests stories about life itself and the legacy of generations.
Having studied history, Triin is first and foremost a heritage protection enthusiast in her heart, but also a sheep farmer and a keen keeper of Seto leelo.
Due to her initiative we had the courage to open our restaurant in this old wooden house that we repaired mainly with our own hands under her vigilant eye.
Kerti Vissel

Kerti's dignity and modest brilliance reflects both in our restaurant's kitchen as well as in the flavours she combines. Every dinner, she devotedly presents our guests the menu, seasonal produce or special nuances of the dinner.
Having studied sociology, Kerti has acquired her cooking skills while experimenting with different local produce over a long period of time. She is the alumni of 2022 of the MAD Academy in Copenhagen and stands for sustainable gastronomy.
By virtue of her view on cooking as art, our joint dream of our own high level restaurant has burst into bloom.
Kadri Vissel

Under Kadri's care and love all plants spring up, grow and yield crops, and vast flower beds bloom in our restaurant garden. Her presence may mistakenly go unnoticed at first, since she mostly works in the garden or the green house.
Having studied Estonian traditional handicraft and working as a senior collection manager in a museum has added depth and maturity to her natural good taste.
Our guests can see it all also in our restaurant – Kadri has chosen and sewn our napkins and hand towels, woven the tapestry and created sets of Christmas decorations.
